Top : Events : Firehawk Rallies : 8th Annual Firehawk Rally : Drag Racing Purse Money Drag Racing Elimination’s Purse Money Back by popular demand this year’s the Firehawk/Comp T/A Drag Racing Eliminations will again offer a money prize purse and trophies for 1st. & 2nd. Place finishing for both the Firehawks & Comp T/A’s. The way it will work is like this. Each participant that enters the Firehawk eliminations will place $10.00 in the kitty. The prize monies will be divided up follows. If 20 people enter the eliminations that’s $200.00. 1st. Place winner will get 50% or $100.00. 2nd. Place winner will 30% or $60.00 and the remaining 20% or $40.00 will go to the Rally to help with the cost & the trophies. The Comp T/A will also have prize money purse. Mike Alford will be in charge of the program for the Comp T/A owners. It will work on the same basis as the Firehawk eliminations with 50% of the purse going to the 1st. Place winner with 30% of the purse going to the 2nd place winner and 20% of the purse going to Rally to help offset costs and the trophies. A member to be mention at the Saturday Night Dinner has spiced up the purse monies by donating the following: $20.00 to the winner of the Firehawk Eliminations $20.00 to the winner of the Comp T/A Eliminations $40.00 to the individual(s) who exactly match their “dial in” time for the Firehawk or Comp T/eliminations. If more than one individual matches their “dial in”, then the $40.00 will be split among those individuals. If there are no individuals who matched their “dial in” times, then the individuals who comes the closest (without breaking out) will get the $40.00. For any ties…the $40.00 will be split among them. There will still be free time trials on Sunday Morning for those who do not wish to enter the eliminations for the prize purse monies. Monies will be collected at the Rally for this event.
